Streetwear is getting more outrageous by the year and while some look for edgy streetwear concepts, others are looking for premium staples to keep their wardrobe looking fresh. Here’s a look at new streetwear brands that will take 2024 by storm.
Pelota
The new UK streetwear brand Pelota is inspired by sporting goods and minimal designs. The mid priced brand offers hoodies for around £80 and offers a ‘preppy’ style for anyone looking for a premium university style. The simple ‘P’ logo is also very attractive for anyone looking for the minimal style while also boasting a premium product. While the product variety is limited currently to caps, hoodies and tee’s, they’ve focused on sourcing premium fabrics to match the comfortable fits.
Undercover
The Japanese label has been making waves since its collaboration with Nike. While this isn’t a new brand for 2024, the brand started up in Tokyo in the 1990’s with outrageous concepts. These unique garments do come at a cost though, with t-shirts starting at £100+ they also have ultra rare designs at £2k-£3k. Brand designer Takahashi has previously said he found a lot of influence from the British punk scene, which you can still see in the product releases in 2024.
Avant Garde
Affordable streetwear is an essential for any guy looking to keep his wardrobe fresh. The mens full tracksuits offer a boxy casual fit for affordable prices. While the brand hasn’t been around a long time, it’s keeping streetwear affordable with trending bold prints on their garments. Avant Garde is inspired by Parisian streetwear culture and uses block designs, bold colours and staple garments to keep things casual.
KITH
A collaboration with KITH can only mean your doing something right. Design Ronnie Feig has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands and turns sportswear, skate clothing and many other lines into sold out streetwear collections. Often collaborating with Nike, Asics and many others, KITH is a brand that’s difficult to get hold of and has price ranges of a complete variety, depending on which brand it’s working with.
No Two Ways
NTW’s is a sneaker brand offering something different to mix up from your Air Max and Jordan collection. The bulky designs are premium and haven’t compromised on their pricing keeping the range between £90 to £120. The silhouettes are unique, colours are supreme and they constantly sell out of every collection they launch. It’s truly great to see a streetwear concept that isn’t putting a new logo on a basic show, and haven’t hiked the prices up even with reseller sneaker market clearly highlight what people are willing to spend on trainers.
